PROPERTY OF GEORGIAN EX-PRESIDENT AND HIS RELATIVES HAS BEEN SEQUESTRATED
Following solicitation of the Main Prosecutor’s Office, Tbilisi city court and court of appeal authorized seizure of movable and immovable property of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili and his family members. “As accused Saakashvili avoids (cooperation with) investigation, there was grounded suppose that he would alienate or hide in some other way his property and one of persons, related to him, which would hamper compensation of damage, inflicted to the state”, the Main Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement, published today.
