    Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) had conducted a study, which convicted the organization in non-existence of single project of Kutaisi water supply system.

    Despite request, neither different administrative bodies, nor LLC United Water Supply Company have presented single project of Kutaisi water supply system, GYLA declared at the presentation, held in Kutaisi today.

    Georgian Civil Aviation Agency reported that airports of the country had transferred 299,438 passengers in the 1st quarter. If compared with the same period of 2012, the figure is by 21% up.

    Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry reported that rehabilitation of Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni road will be completed in November 2013. Works on this road were launched in spring 2012.

    LLC Ornament will implement rehabilitation of the Parliament building, located on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, one of the Parliament majority leaders Zviad Dzidziguri has declared at the briefing today.

    This company came out on top among 21 other organizations, participants of tender, which was announced in January.

    Computer hardware distributor Alta announced about opening of its shop in Tbilisi Mall on March 30. This outlet will be already the 6th shop of the company, operating in Tbilisi.

    Georgian Finance Ministry and representatives of Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) had considered today ongoing and new road infrastructure projects in Georgia. The sides do not disclosed information about new projects at this stage.

  8. “TODINI/TAKENAKA” TO BUILD ZESTAPONI-KUTAISI BYPASS ROAD

    Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry announced about completion of international tender procedures on construction service procurement for Zestaponi-Kutaisi bypass road.

    As the Ministry said, the tender winner is Italian-Japanese consortium Todini/Takenaka, which will undertake implementation of the mentioned project, worth of 118.5 million lari.

    Wizz Air Ukraine, subsidiary of Hungarian low-budget air company Wizz Air, is going to launch flights from Kutaisi Airport to Katowice of Poland from May.

    The mentioned decision was made upon results of Wizz Air Ukraine’s operation in Georgia, representatives of the company declared today after meeting with Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Tbilisi.

  12. ADDRESSING PROCESS STARTED IN 6 CITIES

    State Service Development Agency reported that addressing process has been started in 6 large cities of the country (Batumi, Bolnisi, Gori, Kutaisi, Telavi, Zugdidi).

    To remind, State Service Development Agency and Public Registry have been implementing nationwide addressing process since 2010.

    Georgian air company FlyGeorgia told Sarke that flights on Tbilisi-Kiev route will start on March 3.

    The flights will be performed 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).

    Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry informed that Hungarian low-budget air company Wizz Air will perform additional flights from Kutaisi Airport from April 1.

    Namely, the company is going to perform daily flights to Kiev, while 3 times a week – to Donetsk, Warsaw and Kharkov.
