    According to SilkNet, subscribers in Tbilisi are offered to pay bills for home telephone and recently announced mobile phone S1 service in single tariff. In case of opt for this double-offer, the company said, subscribers will be allowed to use mobile phone free of charge.

  2. “TELASI” TO IMPLEMENT IPO IN 2013

    According to director general of JSC TELASI (Tbilisi energy distributor) Yuri Pimonov, the company plans to implement initial public offering in 2013.  At this stage, restructuring of debts is being underway in terms to make the company more stable, he said.  No other details, including volume of arrears, are disclosed so far.

    According to the company’s report for 2010, on October 27, 2008, TELASI signed agreement with parent company, envisaging conversion of energy distributor’s indebtedness due to the latter ($388.3 million) into new loan.  The company should have repaid liabilities of 147.5 million lari until end of 2011.

  3. “TELASI” INVESTED 27.5M LARI THIS YEAR

    Director general of JSC TELASI (Tbilisi energy distributor) Yuri Pimonov has declared that the company’s investments in production and non-production spheres made up 27.5 million lari this year.  Next year, up to 26 million lari is planned to invest in the company’s development.

    Pimonov declared about the mentioned at the annual summarizing press-conference today.

    Georgian-Israel Business Chamber has reported that Israeli company City-M will resume construction of hotel apartments in Tbilisi (Gudiashvili Str. 3), which was halted for certain period.

    Management of 5-star hotel will be undertaken by Rixos brand.

    The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has re-announced auction on whole stake in the state-owned LLC Tbilisi Central Hospital. Now, starting price makes up 1.5 million lari instead of previous 1.7 million lari.

    Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) has reported that Dutch Development Fund (FMO) will allot $20 million to the bank’s subsidiary real estate company SBRE.

    The funds will be used for construction of dwelling house in Tbilisi, the bank noted.

  20. EUROPEAN YOUTH CARD “EUROCARD” TO BE INTRODUCED IN GEORGIA

    International non-governmental organization Peace and Development Academy (provider of Eurocard in Georgia) has informed that annual fee for Eurocard (property of European Youth Association) in Georgia is 10 lari.

    The card enables young people from 13 to 31 to enjoy certain discounts in different objects in Georgia, as well as over 80,000 objects of 38 countries of Europe, head of Peace and Development Academy Giorgi Kakulia declared at the presentation of the card today.
