    National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission has imposed fine of 5,000 lari on Tbilisi gas distributor KazTransGaz-Tbilisi because of violation of licensing terms.

    The Commission warned the company that in case of new violation of terms for submission of requested documents, the fine of 15,000 lari will be imposed.

    Georgian Energy Ministry declared that illegal consumption of natural gas was revealed in building in Tbilisi (Malkhaz Abdushelishvili Str. 41), where former Avlabar residence of Georgia’s President was located.

    According to the Ministry, the matter concerns gas pipe bypassing the meter, which was revealed during scheduled inspection by safety service of KazTransGaz-Tbilisi, Tbilisi gas distributor.
