Georgian Finance Ministry reported that state external debt of the country amounted as of June 30 to $5.44 billion. If compared with the same period of 2018, the volume has increased by 4.9%.

Sakstat released estimation, according to which Georgia’s foreign commodity trade turnover (without unorganized trade) totaled in January-June to $5.97 billion. If compared with the same period of 2018, the volume has reduced by 0.6%.

From recommendations on corruption prevention, received by Georgia, 70% are not completely fulfilled, Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) reported, referring to Group of States against Corruption (GRECO, anti-corruption body of the Council of Europe).

As ADB noted, this is already the 3^rd such 2-tranche emission of securities on Georgian market after 2015.

Azerbaijani low-coster Buta Airways adds weekly flight in direction of Batumi, Georgian Civil Aviation Agency reported.

Respectively, from July 17 to September 18, regular flights between Baku and Batumi will be conducted 3 times a week by Embraer 190, Airbus 319 and Airbus 320.
