3. SALES OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN GEORGIA INCREASED BY 37% – “TEGETA CARS” IS THE MAJOR PLAYER ON THE MARKET

In 2023, only 6,000 (0.35%) out of 1.68 million cars registered in Georgia, were electric powered, says Petre Tsakadze, director of Tegeta Cars.

According to Tsakadze, about 15,000 new cars were sold in Georgia in 2023, of which 550 were electric powered, which is 37% more than in 2022.
