Georgia’s First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Gela Khanishvili declares that “program against marmorated stink bug [the pest, Halyomorpha halys] is successfully implemented in 2019”. “The marmorated stink bug is completely turned under control”, he assures, pointing that “the works, conducted in the last year, were of great importance, resulting in appearance of less marmorated stink bugs this year”.

In terms of wine export’s growth in 2000-2016, Georgia was on the 5th place in the world, the magazine reports, referring to data of the American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE). For the mentioned period, cumulative growth of Georgian wine export made up 291%.
