After international conference, devoted to the 10^th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, which took place in Batumi on July 12, European Council president Donald Tusk met chairman of ruling Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili, the newspaper reports. The meeting was held behind closed doors.

Georgia’s First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Gela Khanishvili declares that “program against marmorated stink bug [the pest, Halyomorpha halys] is successfully implemented in 2019”. “The marmorated stink bug is completely turned under control”, he assures, pointing that “the works, conducted in the last year, were of great importance, resulting in appearance of less marmorated stink bugs this year”.

In terms of wine export’s growth in 2000-2016, Georgia was on the 5^th place in the world, the magazine reports, referring to data of the American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE). For the mentioned period, cumulative growth of Georgian wine export made up 291%.
