National Bank of Georgia (NBG) reported that in March, the EU countries accounted for 44.61% of total volume of remittances to the country ($193.1 million). Those include Italy with $36.5 million (18.9% of total), Greece – $18.95 million (9.8%), Germany – $11.31 million (5.9%), Spain – $4.69 million (2.4%).

Vasil Khodeli, who has held the CEO position in Liberty Bank since 2019, will leave the post in May, the magazine reports. A new CEO of the bank will become Beka Gogichaishvili.
