MASTERING OF THE GOVERNMENTAL RESERVE FUND’S ALLOCATION MADE UP 97.06%, OF THE PRESIDENTIAL FUND – 99.04%

Treasury Service of the Finance Ministry reported that the governmental reserve fund made up 144 allocations in 2014 with total volume of 85.25 million lari. At that, factual spending amounted to 82.74 million lari (i.e. mastering of allotted funds made up 97.06%).

Sakstat published preliminary data of Georgia’s trade for 2014, saying that the country’s import from Ukraine amounted to $546.14 million (6.4% of total volume – the 5th position). If compared with 2013, the volume has decreased by 9.33%.

AYFB: EXPORT DECLINED ONLY IN CARS AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Referring to Sakstat, Association of Young Financiers and Businessmen declared that decrease in Georgian export was fixed in 2014 in cars and alcoholic beverages only, where decline made up respective 27% and 5%. “Decline happened due to decrease in cars’ re-export, which has its objective reason”, vice-president of the Association Shota Gulbani declared at the news briefing today.
