PAWN SHOPS – 1,031 OUTLETS FOR POPULATION’S ROBBERY

According to the latest data, there are 1,031 pawnshops registered in Georgia. In 2013, total assets of these companies amounted to 340 million lari, of which 91.5% accounted for issued loans, 4% – for cash, while remained part was banking deposits, etc.

The newspaper reports that State Audit Service has handed over to Prosecutor’s Office materials, which will increase gravity of charges for Gigi Ugulava, former mayor of Tbilisi. These materials are related to period of 2006-2010.
