AS OF MARCH, 17.6% OF TOTAL DEPOSITS IN GEORGIA WERE INSURED

As of March 31, deposits placed in Georgian banks (both in national and foreign currencies) totaled to 59.85 billion lari. At that, according to Georgian Deposit Insurance Agency, volume of deposits, insured under the deposit insurance system, amounted to 10.5 billion lari, making up 17.6% of the total.
