    Georgia’s Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry reported that Deputy Minister Giorgi Solomonia met today with representatives of Swedish construction company Lindab. As the Ministry pointed, Swedish company expressed desire to enter to Georgian market.

    International audit company KPMG conducted study, which revealed that nominal and effective rates of interest on loans in Georgia are lower than ones in Kazakhstan, Serbia and Armenia, but higher than in Poland.

    Study, covering the mentioned countries, was ordered to KPMG by National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

    Press service of Georgian Prime Minister reported that Irakli Garibashvili held a meeting with Israeli businessmen in Tbilisi, acquainted them with Georgia’s business environment. “The idea emerged to establish Israeli-Georgian business council”, the Premier declared, adding: “I consider that Georgia and Israel do not use adequately their opportunities of trade and investment”.
