Candidate for Tbilisi Mayor’s office from ruling Georgian Dream coalition David Narmania got 46.11%, while his main rival from oppositional National Movement Nika Melia – 27.94%.

  9. GEORGIA TO GET 80M EUR FOR WATER SUPPLY’S REHABILITATION

    Wilhelm Molterer, vice-president of EIB (European Investment Bank), signed the project agreement today with Archil Tsabutashvili, director general of United Water Supply Company of Georgia, and Giorgi Somkhishvili, executive director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, envisaging refurbishment and upgrading of municipal water facilities in Georgia.

    Within the agreement, which signing ceremony took place within EU-Georgia investment conference in Tbilisi, EIB allots loan of 40 million EUR, aiming maintenance continuity of the water supply, reduction of water leakages in the water supply system and improvement of water quality in 28 cities of Georgia during 5 years.

    As Gogokhia (ex-head of Georgian Lottery Company) refrains from visit to Georgian law enforcement bodies, he was accused in absentia, the Service said.
