    According to the report of 2007, made by Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulation National Commission, last year Georgia was supplied with 1.68 billion cubic m of gas, which is less by 10.5% compared with the previous year.

    The mentioned volume is by 2.5% less compared with annual forecast of Georgian Energy Ministry, which exceeded 1.7 million cubic m, too.

    The 7th international oil, gas, infrastructure and energy conference GIOGIE-2008 was opened today in Tbilisi, which is held under the patronage of Georgian Prime Minister, Energy Ministry and Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation.

    250 delegates from 15 countries, such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the US, attend the conference.
