    NBG: PILOT REPORTING DEVELOPED WITHIN PROJECT OF SHIFTING TO FAS

    In its annual report for 2015, National Bank of Georgia (NBG) said that works were continued in the reporting year on project of shifting supervision reporting of commercial banks to Financial Accounting Standards (FAS).

    Within the project, NBG has worked out pilot form of financial reporting (FINREP), the report stated.


    THE GOVERNMENT TO PRESENT SOON ACTION PLAN ON INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

    “In near future, we will hold presentation of complete action plan on infrastructure development”, Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared.

    The Premier specified that the plan “foresees development and construction of major infrastructure through-passages, as well as development of access roads to tourism infrastructure”.

    7-KM SECTION OF EAST-WEST HIGHWAY OPENED

    The government reported about opening of 7-km part of Agara – Zemo Osiauri 12-km section of East-West highway (E60). Works on remaining 5 km have to be finished until end of the year.


    TRANSPORT HUB OPENED AT KOBULETI BYPASS ROAD

    Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported that exit transport hub was opened at the 13th km of Kobuleti bypass road.

    The mentioned hub is located at a crossing point with Sajavakho-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti road of inner-state importance, the Ministry said.


    GOVERNMENT APPROVED DOCUMENTATION ON UREKI-SHEKVETILI URBAN DEVELOPMENT

    The government has approved yesterday draft resolution on urban documentation of Ureki-Shekvetili recreational territory development.

    Dimitri Kumsishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, pointed: “Ureki is important natural wellness sea resort, with high tourism and recreational potential and it is reasonable to update once in every 5 years the general plan on land usage and urban development documentation”.


    AJARA GOVERNMENT: REGIONAL MUNICIPALITIES TO SIGN MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH “UNITED WATER SUPPLY COMPANY”

    Government of Ajara reported that Batumi and 5 municipalities of the autonomous republic have to sign management contract with Georgian United Water Supply Company (which serves currently all regions of the country, except Ajara and Rustavi).

    In order to simplify company’s operation, the contract will be signed within project on “Rehabilitation of Water Supply and Sewage System in Ajara Deposit and Rural Communities”, the government noted.


    GOVERNMENT STARTS PROJECT ON IKALTO RAVINE DEVELOPMENT

    The government approved draft regulation on development measures in Ikalto Ravine (Telavi municipality of Kakheti region) at the meeting yesterday.

    Assisting Commission for Ikalto Ravine Development will be chaired by Dimitri Kumsishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.


    FINANCE MINISTRY: IN TOTAL, 50 TAXPAYERS GOT STATUS OF HIGH-MOUNTAIN SETTLEMENT’S ENTERPRISE

    Finance Ministry reported that the government has granted status of high-mountain settlement’s enterprise to 50 taxpayers in total.

    The mentioned status allows legal entities to be exempted from property and profit taxes during 10 years, while private individuals are exempted from property and income tax, the Ministry pointed.

    LLC “ARCOMM” GOT LICENSE ON NUMERATION RESOURCE USAGE

    National Communication Commission reported about issuing of license on numeration resource usage to LLC ARComm. The matter concerns 1,000 subscriber numbers with index 256-0XXX, intended for fixed telephone service.


    ECONOMY MINISTRY: “KHAKHUTA” INVESTED $850,000 IN CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ENTERPRISE IN BATUMI

    Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that company Khakhuta has invested $850,000 in construction materials enterprise, located in Batumi. The Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili has visited the plant today.
