    Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission fined Tbilisi water company LLC Georgian Water&Power (GWP) with 5,000 lari. The mentioned decision was caused by abrogation of license terms.

    Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development declared that legal entity of public law, National Agency for State Property will be launched in September.

    Persons, interested in buying or use of state property, will receive the Agency’s fast and competent service through one-window principle from October, the Ministry said.

    Georgian Center for Intellectual Property Sakpatent reported that by January 1, there were 45,464 active trademarks, registered in Georgia through local and international procedures.

    According to the Center’s report-2011, 4,863 claims on the invention were submitted in 2011 (by 12.7% more than in 2010).

    According to Economic Research and Consulting Center of Ilia State University, customers in Tbilisi prefer beer, bottled by Natakhtari brewery.

    The Center had studied choice of 976 people, shopping in 14 trade outlets of Populi chain.

    Civil Aviation Agency reported that UTair-Ukraine (Ukrainian subsidiary of Russian UTair) performed the first flight Donetsk-Tbilisi-Donetsk yesterday.

    Flights will be made once a week, by CRJ-200 and ATR-72 airplanes.

    Selected models were from 4 price categories: up to 100 lari, 100-400 lari, 400-800 lari and 800-1,200 lari.

    As TBC Broker told Sarke, GRDC will apply now to court, asking to define price of stake, and mandatory buy-out of shares will be performed.
