  5. “GEORGIAN BEER COMPANY” LAUNCHED ITS BREWERY

    Georgian Beer Company launched brewery in Saguramo (near Tbilisi), which will produce beer under Zedazeni trademark. Retail price of this beer is expected to be 1.50 lari (0.5 l bottle).

  6. EBRD, IFC, FMO AND BSTDB TO INVEST $40M IN CAUCASUS GROWTH FUND

    Representatives of International Financial Institutes announced that European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Financial Corporation (IFC, member of the World Bank group), Netherlands Development Bank (FMO) and Blacks Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) will invest $40 million in Caucasus Growth Fund.

    Additional $2 million will be allotted by Small Enterprises Assistance Funds (SEAF), which will undertake management of Caucasus Growth Fund.

  7. MEMBERS OF AGRI LNG OFFER THE PROJECT TO COMMERCIALLY INTERESTED ENTITIES

    The states, participating in AGRI LNG project, express desire to sell the project to commercially interested entities, said Liana Jervalidze, expert being directly involved in the project.

    The project AGRI LNG envisages construction of terminals for liquified Azeri gas on Black Sea coasts of Georgia and Romania for supplying to European markets.

  8. IFC WITH ITS PARTNERS TO ALLOT $100M TO GEORGIA

    International Financial Corporation (IFC) and its partners will allocate $100 million to Georgia this year, IFC’s Director for Europe and Central Asia Tomasz Telma declared.

    Telma, being with visit in Tbilisi, noted that IFC significantly increased its financing for Georgia for the last 3-4 years, so the volume makes up $100 million annually now.

    JSC TELASI (Tbilisi energy distributor) announced that the company’s supervisory board made decision to appoint Ashot Manukyan as director general of the company.

    Since February 2011, Manukyan occupied office of director general in Armenian open joint stock company Razdan Energy Company (Razdan heat power station).
