   Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia has declared that investor will have to invest 40 million lari in modernization of Kopitnari airport. This is the condition, which enables handing over of LLC Kutaisi Airport, located in Kopitnari, to potential investor for symbolic price of 1 lari, she noted.

2. DRINKING WATER SUPPLY IN GEORGIA REDUCED BY 35.6%

   Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulation Commission reported that total volume of water, supplied in 2010, made up 449.8 million cubic m countrywide. The figure is by 35.6% down year-on-year.

   The draft amendments to Georgian Constitution define Kutaisi as the only locating place for the Parliament after the parliamentary elections in October 2012. The government-drafted amendments were presented at the meeting of the Parliament’s bureau today.

    National Communication Commission informed that calls to cities and regional centers of the country should be made through new area codes only from today.

    According to national plan on numeration, area codes of eastern part of Georgia start with “3”, while of western part – with “4”.
