   Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared that “3 years ago, the state together with energy suppliers decided to decrease a tariff by 3.54 tetri”. “Today, without VAT, growth (of the tariff) makes up 3.48 tetri”, he pointed, while commenting on increase of consumer tariff of EnergoPro Georgia (regional power distributor).

   Web portal “TradeWithGeorgia” will be launched in 2 weeks for exporters, which development is envisaged in action plan for 2015 on implementation of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) with the EU. Creation of the portal is carried out by Agency of Entrepreneurship Development.

6. Netgazeti.Ge: ““PANORAMA TBILISI” GOT PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION ON SOLOLAKI RIDGE”

   Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that its Agency of Technical and Construction Supervision issued 3 permissions to “Panorama Tbilisi” project, the newspaper points. Construction has to be completed in 2017-2018, while total volume of declared investments makes up 1 billion lari.

   National Bank of Georgia (NBG) reported that TBC Bank, Liberty Bank and Republic are preparing for transition to system of digital signature. This system is in full compliance with European directive, NBG noted.

10. Rezonansi: “NATIONAL ECONOMY CANNOT PAY DEBTS OF SUCH VOLUME”

    In 2014, debt of Georgian government made up 36.4% of GDP (foreign debt – 27.6%, internal one – 8.8%) and it was planned to keep it in the next years below 40%.

    However, according to draft amendments to the state budget-2015, debt will grow from 11.8 billion to 13.779 billion lari.

    The government considered the package on ski resorts development, which envisages restoration of traditional Alpine skiing track on mountain Kokhta in Bakuriani by Austrian Doppelmayr, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili told journalists after the government meeting today.

    “We are in partnership with one of the companies, which undertakes also to assume part of expenses on construction of a ropeway”, the Minister noted.
