    According to Sakstat, average occupancy rate of Georgian hotels made up 24.35% in 2010 (it does not concern unregistered guesthouses). At that, the rate made up 32.8% in Tbilisi, 26.7% – Ajara, 24.7% – Kakheti.

    According to Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia), as of the first half of 2011, its personal banking service SOLO had 3,094 clients. The number has increased by 15.3% (i.e. by 411 clients) from the start of year.

    Meeting of the Parliament’s bureau opened autumn session 2011 today.

    According to the Press Service, Vice-Speaker Giorgi Tsereteli has introduced bureau members with legal initiatives, envisaging amendments and supplements to Civil Code, as well as to laws on Tbilisi National Park, state theatres, indication of origin of goods and geographical names, cultural heritage and Chamber of Control.

    Bankruptcy manager of LLC Magnate 2006 declared that first lot of the company’s property was sold on recent auction. The property was acquired for 408,000 lari by LLC Oil-Products’ Distribution Corporation.

  15. TURNOVER OF SERVICE AGENCY’S ONLINE AUCTIONS AMOUNTED TO 90M LARI

    Finance Ministry’s Service Agency reported that turnover of e-auctions’ website totaled to 90 million lari in this year. The website has 8,000 visitors daily, the Agency notes.

  16. ALTERNATIVE AUDIT TO BE AVAILABLE FOR ENTERPRISES WITH TURNOVER BELOW 10,000 LARI ALSO

    Revenue Service of the Finance Ministry declared that enterprises with small turnover (i.e. below 100,000 lari a year) will be involved in “Alternative Audit” project also. For the moment, 20 such enterprises and up to 20 auditors are selected for participation in the project in Tbilisi.

    Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development announced auction of selling LLC Tbilisi Rail-Welding Plant. Starting price of the state-owned stake of 100% is 3.3 million lari.
