    Bank Constanta told Sarke that it has issued about 3,000 debit cards, which offer was started this month.

    Starting the beginning of the next year, the bank is going to issue credit cards as well.

    Since today, VIP clients of Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) will be served in premium-class hall in Tbilisi International Airport. For that end, the bank will grant them a special card, issued jointly with TAV Operation Service (managing company of non-aviation revenue of the airport operator, TAV Holdings).

  4. GEORGIA AND ARMENIA DISCUSSED COOPERATION DEEPENING

    President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, being with 2-day official visit in Georgia, met today with President Mikheil Saakashvili and other Georgian officials.

    Office of the Georgian President reported that governmental delegations of the two countries had signed agreements on cooperation in foreign policy, economic and border issues.

  15. “CONSTANTA” TO INCREASE CHARTERED CAPITAL BY 3.5M LARI

    Chartered capital of bank Constanta will be increased by 3.5 million lari, Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, director general of Constanta’s major shareholder TBC Bank, declared to Sarke.

    The mentioned decision is caused by constant growth of Constanta’s credit portfolio, Butskhrikidze said.

  16. “GEORGIAN RAILWAY” SPENT 18.5M LARI FOR MODERNIZATION PROJECT

    According to 9-month report of LLC Georgian Railway, LLC had spent 18.5 million lari in railway modernization.

    Works within project on fast railway construction have been already launched, but their active phase is expected to start from April of the next year, director general of Georgian Railway Irakli Ezugbaia said.

  19. NINETEEN FOREIGN AIR CARRIERS PERMITTED FOR WINTER FLIGHTS

    Permissions for winter flights are issued to 1 Georgian (Georgian Airways) and 19 foreign air carriers. To remind, permissions for summer flights were issued to the same Georgian Airways and 15 foreign air companies.

  20. RIKOTI TUNNEL REHABILITATION BROUGHT TO END

    Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported that rehabilitation of Rikoti tunnel (connecting eastern and western parts of the country, 143rd km of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway) has been completed. The works were started in July 2010 and cost 49.3 million lari, being funded by Georgian government and the World Bank.
