    The project aims assistance provision to Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry’s National Agency of Standards, Technical Regulations and Metrology.

    Giorgi Gaganidze, subdean of Economics and Business Faculty of Tbilisi State University, says that Georgia has never considered economic dividends as subject of bargain on negotiations concerning Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). “Our consent to this offer means that Abkhazia and South Ossetia are occupied territories for Georgia and we do not to resign ourselves to violence”, he declares.

  6. SHARE OF TBILISI IN ISSUED CREDITS IS DECLINED

    National Bank of Georgia reported that in terms of loans’ distribution among Georgian regions, Tbilisi accounted for 78.8% of total credits issued as of October 1.

    To compare, as of the 1st quarter, the same rate made up 80.8%, decreasing to 79.8% in the 2nd quarter.

    Confectionary producer Narcissus has announced that introduction of ISO 22000 and HACCP standards is started in its enterprise, located in Isani district of Tbilisi. The process is expected to complete within 9 months, the company said.

    KIA Motors Georgia (official office of Korean KIA in Georgia) has declared to Sarke that sales of the company increased by 50-60% compared with the last year.

    ATU Georgia and TAV Georgia (operator of Tbilisi International Airport) have opened wine store Georgian Wines in duty-free zone of the airport today.

    The store offer wines of 12 Georgian companies (Badagoni, Tbilgvino, Teliani Valley, Kindzmarauli Wine Cellar, Bagrationi-1882, etc.).
