    A regular session of GUUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova) national coordinators was held in Baku on September 18-19. Zurab Beridze, director of the 2nd European department of the Foreign Ministry, presented the Georgian delegation.

    For today, there is not a single signature, demanding Zurab Zhvania’s resignation, informs Parliament department on personnel issues. Zhvania, has officially involved the statement with a proposal to begin collecting signatures in the department on September 7.

  20. GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT PREFERS TO GET WB TRANCHES SEPARATELY

    The World Bank postponed the allocation of the second and third tranches of SAC-3, each $20 million, because of Georgia’s failure to meet a number of conditions. At the moment, Tbilisi can count on getting the second tranche as all conditions set by the WB have been actually met, said Temur Basilia, President’s aid on economic issues.
