   Since today, tickets of German railway operator Deutsche Bahn are available to purchase in Tbilisi as well (the service is available in 130 countries). The service in Georgia is provided by Georgian Avia Service Agency in cooperation with Turkish air company Pegasus.

   As the newspaper notes, growth of budget-2012 is planned to secure mainly on account of tax revenues’ increase. In 2012, Finance Ministry will have to collect 6.6 billion lari in the state budget, of which 6.1 billion accounts for taxes.

5. “SAKARTVELOS BANKI” OPENED 6^TH SERVICE-CENTER IN KAKHETI

   Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) has announced on opening new service-center in Lagodekhi (Kakheti region). Besides Lagodekhi, the bank is represented in the same region’s districts Gurjaani, Telavi, Sagarejo, Signagi and Kvareli.

6. NEW ACTION PLAN IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT WITHIN TRACECA PROJECT

   Regional meeting on new project of TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia), named “Logistic processes and sea routes”, was started today in Tbilisi.

   Georgian Ministry of Economy and Stable Development said that the event, which will last for 3 days, should draft an action plan for the project.

8. PART OF “KALAKPROEKTI” BUILDING IN TBILISI SOLD FOR 1.1M LARI

   Tbilisi Agency for Property Management reported that part of Kalakproekti building on Agmashenebeli Ave. 89/24 (Urban Project) was sold for 1.1 million lari.

   The Agency did not name new owner, saying that it will announce it only after registration of property rights.

9. FLIGHTS TO MESTIA TO BE SERVED BY FRENCH-MADE PLANE

   Starting from the end of year, flights to resort Mestia (highland region Zemo Svaneti) to be served by plane, manufactured by French-Italian company ATR. Test flight, held yesterday, was attended by Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia.

18. WORKS ON POWER TRANSMISSION LINE “TRIALETI” TO BE COMPLETED BY MID OCTOBER

    According to JSC Georgian State Electro System, construction works on 110-kV power transmission line Trialeti will be brought to the end by mid October, a bit ahead of schedule. Construction of this line aims electricity supply to Marabda-Kartsakhi section of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
