3. “GEORGIAN BAKERS” TO EXPAND PRODUCTION ASSORTMENT

   Confectionary producer Georgian Bakers plans to broaden production assortment from February of 2012. At this stage, the company is engaged in production of confectionary only, but other directions are expected to add in early 2012 as well, the company told Sarke without specifying the details, however.

4. “MCDONALD’S” BUILDING ON RUSTAVELI AVENUE IN TBILISI UPGRADED

   According to businessman Temur Chkonia, upgraded McDonald’s has been opened at Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi today. Rebranding of the restaurant cost $925,000 lari, he said.

   Updated plan of the Georgian government for 2011-2015 envisages construction of 5 industrial zones in the regions.

6. FIVE INDUSTRIAL HUBS TO BE CREATED

   According to updated 10-paragraph plan, published by the government, 5 industrial hubs will be created in regions by 2015. In particular, these hubs are planned to stablish in Poti, Senaki, Kutaisi, Gardabani and Akhaltsikhe.

7. GERMANY TO ALLOT MORE 4M EUR FOR IDPS

   German government will allot extra 4 million EUR in terms to improve living conditions for IDPs (internally displaced persons). Corresponding agreement was signed in Tbilisi today.

8. “TECHNOBOOM” AND “LIBERTY BANK” OFFERED INTEREST-FREE INSTALLMENT TO PENSIONERS

   Household appliances distributor TechnoBoom and Liberty Bank announced joint action for pensioners, envisaging interest-free installment for appliances’ purchase.

   According to TechnoBoom, eligible customers should have fixed income or use Liberty Bank’s money remittances system.

10. “ALDAGI BCI” INVESTED $20M IN HOSPITALS CONSTRUCTION

    Director general of insurance company Aldagi BCI Nikoloz Gamkrelidze reported that $20 million was invested in construction of 6 hospitals.

    Four relatively small hospitals will be launched on Decmeber 1, while two big ones (in Kutaisi and Poti) will be completed in spring, Gamkrelidze said.

11. “PRIVATBANK” LAUNCHED 6 NEW SERVICE-CENTERS

    The first lot includes site of 2,511 square m with building of 1,140 square m.
