    Georgian Stock Exchange reported on OTC deal, held on shares of JSC Kutaisi Lithopone Plant. 135,218 shares of this company (23.1% of emission) were sold for 174,323 lari.

    Confectionary producer Georgian Bakers plans to broaden production assortment from February of 2012. At this stage, the company is engaged in production of confectionary only, but other directions are expected to add in early 2012 as well, the company told Sarke without specifying the details, however.

    According to businessman Temur Chkonia, upgraded McDonald’s has been opened at Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi today. Rebranding of the restaurant cost $925,000 lari, he said.

    Director general of insurance company Aldagi BCI Nikoloz Gamkrelidze reported that $20 million was invested in construction of 6 hospitals.
