    Deputy director general of JSC Georgian Railway Giorgi Gagnidze declared that “Freight turnover is reduced throughout the whole region, served by the railway, and consequently certain reduction reflected in Georgian Railway’s cargo turnover as well”.

    On the one hand, this reduction is connected to readdressing of crude oil to oil pipelines, one of which, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, passes Georgia, Gagnidze says in the statement, spread today.
