   Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) published article titled “$500 Million, Lost From Health Insurance Of Ivanishvili Family”.

   The article reports that ex-premier, billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili accuses directors of his own offshore companies and Swiss bank Credit Suisse in losing more than $500 million from his account.

6. Batumelebi: “BUSINESS DEALS AND “OLYMPIC CITY” IN BATUMI”

   The article points that in its time, Batumi chess palace and nearby territory (land plot of 30,000 square m) were handed over to Hestok Batumi, owner of hotel Hilton and Batumi ropeway, under certain conditions.    Georgian company Gasko+ signed contract with Russian Gazprom on supply of 100 million cubic m of natural gas, the magazine reports, referring to Gazprom. The contract is valid from July 1 to December 31 with possibility of further extension.

   Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze said that the country is expected to join European Energy Union by September 2016.

    Today, multi-profile 100-bed hospital was opened at Tbilisi Sea territory. As the government said, company Tbilisi Sea Hospital, jointly with Chinese Hualing Group, has invested 4.5 million lari in the project and employed 447 people.

15. THE GOVERNMENT ESTABLISHES INSTITUTE OF COMMERCIAL ATTACHES

    At the meeting today, the government considered amendments to law “On Diplomatic Service”, which envisage establishment of commercial attaches’ institute.

    As Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared, “Georgia’s special trade representatives will be in all countries with high rate of trade and, who will be engaged in lobbying of Georgian exporters’ interests and will act as direct representatives of the government for that end”.

16. MAIN PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE DEPARTMENT: PROPERTY OF 16M LARI RETURNED AFTER INVESTIGATION OF CRIME, COMMITTED DURING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

    Department of Main Prosecutor’s Office, established for investigation of crime, committed during legal criminal proceedings, reported that property totaling to 16 million lari has been returned. According to the Department, 57 entities were recognized as victims of forcible expropriation of property.

    Head of Tourism National Administration Giorgi Chogovadze assures that this year, “unprecedented number of international travelers will be fixed in Georgia”.

    In 2015, the country hosted 5.9 million international travelers, which number increased by 7%, if compared with 2014, while 522,359 international travelers have arrived to Georgia in May, increasing in number by 14.9% year-on-year, Chogovadze points.
