   Deputy Finance Minister Giorgi Kakauridze declared that there is expectation of GDP growth at 2.8-3% by end of the year. Currently, instead of planned 2%, we have growth of 2.7%, he pointed.

   Liberty Bank reported unaudited profit of 21.5 million lari for 9 months of the year. Compared to the same period of 2014, the volume has increased by 50.2%.

   7-year office terms of Giorgi Kadagidze as president of National Bank of Georgia (NBG) expire in February 2016, while new president should be elected by the majority votes of NBG Council’s member.

   According to the newspaper, the Council will nomine on the president’s post Archil Mestvirishvili.

7. DEPUTY FINANCE MINISTER: DYNAMIC OF BUDGETARY SPENDING IS CONSIDERABLY IMPROVED COMPARED TO PAST YEARS

   Deputy Finance Minister Giorgi Kakauridze asserts that “dynamic of (budgetary assignations’) spending is significantly improved compared to past years”.

   “Overall spending exceeds 70%”, the Deputy Minister declared today, while reporting on 9-month performance of the budget to the Parliament’s Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Governance.

8. AZERBAIJAN’S PRESIDENT DISCUSSED TWO COUNTRIES’ STRATEGIC RELATIONS WITHIN VISIT TO GEORGIA

   Issues of regional development, prospects of strategic partnership deepening, transport and energy projects have been discussed within 2-day visit of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to Georgia.

   On November 5, Aliyev met with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili, while on November 6 – with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and members of the government.

9. TBILISI CITY HALL APPLIED STAFF CHANGES

   Tbilisi City Hall reported that architectural service of the city will be headed by Dimitri Mosulishvili, property management agency – by Karlo Laperadze, while technology development fund – by Kakhaber Gvantseladze.

   There were two more changes in the City Hall also.

    According to the government’s decree, state-owned realty, located in Batumi (Khelvachauri settlement, Agmashenebeli Str. 34), will be handed over to LLC Block within state program “Produce in Georgia”.

    The company will pay symbolic price of 1 lari for non-agricultural land plot of 5,441 square m with constructions.

12. GNERC HAS NEW MEMBER

    Giorgi Pangani will hold post of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission (GNERC) member for 6-year period.

    Candidacy of Pangani was approved by 78 votes at the plenary sitting of the Parliament yesterday.

    In 2017, Georgia will host Euro-Asian Mountain Resorts Conference, Georgian National Tourism Administration announced.

    Namely, owner of 90% of Media Partners will become Kazakh businessman Armanzhan Baitasov (United Asia Business, publisher of Kazakh Forbes).
