    Georgian Water&Power (GWP, Tbilisi company of water supply and sewerage) has reported that investment in rehabilitation of water and sewerage to reach 10 million lari this year.

    Rehabilitation works, which started in July, are expected to complete in the first half of November.

    Kazakh delegation included representatives of about 20 companies.

    According to Sakstat, enterprises’ investments in fixed assets totaled to 2.3 billion lari in 2010. This volume is increased by 11.3% year-on-year.

    Household appliances distributor TechnoBoom and Liberty Bank announced joint action for pensioners, envisaging interest-free installment for appliances’ purchase.

    According to TechnoBoom, eligible customers should have fixed income or use Liberty Bank’s money remittances system.

    Telecommunication company SilkNet announced that health insurance of its employees is being provided by PSP Insurance.

    According to SilkNet, insurance company was selected due to offered terms, in particular – flexible registration form and existence of provider clinics in all regions of the country.

  15. EXPERTS DISCUSS DEVELOPMENT OF BAKU-TBILISI-BATUMI/TRABZON HIGHWAY

    Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has reported that expert group holds the meeting in Batumi, discussing development of Baku-Tbilisi-Batumi/Trabzon highway and supporting infrastructure.

    Development of supporting infrastructure envisages upgrade of customs checkpoints and their equipment with modern technologies; as well as expansion of filling stations, car parkings and hotels’ network, the Ministry noted.

  20. NATIONAL COMMUNICATION COMMISSION FINED “LIBERTY BANK” WITH 5,000 LARI.

    National Communication Commission imposed fine of 5,000 lari on Liberty Bank. According to the Commission, Liberty Bank conducted unauthorized use of radio frequency ranges 161.15 mHz and 158.00 mHz.
