1. UKRAINIAN PREMIER TO VISIT GEORGIA IN AUTUMN

   Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman will pay official visit to Georgia in autumn, administration of Georgian government announced.

   As the administration said, Georgia’s Premier Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who took part in Kiev summit of GUAM (organization of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova), invited his Ukrainian counterpart at “Silk Road” forum, planned to hold in Tbilisi in November.

   According to the official information, the governmental campus will be built near Business Hall in Ortachala (Tbilisi district), where “almost all ministries will be located, except few exceptions”.

   However, co-head of the working group on Tbilisi general plan of land usage Merab Bolkvadze says that 4-5 ministries are planned to relocate to this territory, which area makes up about 4 ha, while there will be no room for other ministries.

3. GEORGIAN PREMIER: GUAM NEEDS A NEW IMPETUS

   Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared that GUAM (organization, comprising of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldavia) “needs a new impetus, more active approach of branches, private sector, governments”.

   Kvirikashvili said the mentioned in his speech at GUAM summit in Kiev.

4. GOVERNMENTAL CLUSTER TO BE BUILT NEARBY TO BUSINESS HALL IN ORTACHALA

   The government announced plans to build the governmental cluster nearby to Business Hall (office of unified service, being under construction now) in Tbilisi district Ortachala.

   While declaring the mentioned plans at the government meeting today, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has noted: “Very large territory was allocated, where the ministries’ offices will move”.

5. SPECIAL SOFTWARE AT BORDER CHECKPOINTS TO MONITOR GEORGIANS’ RETURN AFTER VISA-FREE TRAVEL TO THE EU

   Georgian government announced that special software will be installed at border checkpoints within Georgian citizens’ visa-free travel to Schengen zone. On special changes at border system, Justice Ministry is working together with Interior Ministry.

6. THE GOVERNMENT: ZUGDIDI POPULATION TO HAVE 24-HOUR WATER SUPPLY FROM THE NEXT YEAR

   The government announced that Zugdidi population will have 24-hour water supply from the next year.

   Batumi Mayor Giorgi Ermakov states that “results of vandalism, which took place in Batumi on March 11-12, appeared very grave for the city”.

8. “GEOCRAFT” TO IMPLEMENT ZESTAPONI WIND POWER PLANT PROJECT

   Energy Development Fund said that Zestaponi power plant project (Imereti region) will be implemented by LLC Geocraft. Selection of investor for that project was announced on January 18.

    Within visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban to Georgia in April, Georgia-Hungary business forum is planned to hold, which will attract 50 Hungarian companies, administration of Georgian government reported.

    The mentioned was declared at the meeting between Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili with Hungary’s Foreign and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto, which was held in Tbilisi today.

13. GEORGIAN PREMIER PLANS TO VISIT ROMANIA IN APRIL

    Official visit of Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Romania is planned for April, administration of Georgian government reported.

    Details of the visit and issues of bilateral Georgia-Romania relations were discussed at the meeting today between Kvirikashvili and Romanian ambassador to Georgia Radu Liviu Horumba.

    Strasbourg Court left in force the decision on Rustavi-2 case and extended suspension of enforcement of the decision, made by the Supreme Court of Georgia.
