   Georgian government announces that Co-Investment Fund will build 5-star, 190-room hotel with cost of $60 million in Ganmukhuri (Samegrelo region). The hotel will be located on 35,000 square m at Ganmukhuri coast.

3. PRIME MINISTER: SOLIDARITY FUND UNITED MORE THAN 20% OF CIVIL SERVANTS AND 27 PRIVATE COMPANIES FOR INNOVATIVE FUNDING

   Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared that government-initiated Solidarity Fund united more than 20% of civil servants and 27 private companies around different initiatives for innovative funding. As a result, “lack of vital financing was covered [in medical treatment] of children and youth suffering of cancer in Georgia”, he pointed.

5. Tabula: “PACHULIA’S COMPANY WON GNCC TENDERS, “TVMR” VOICES DOUBT ON THIS”

   Georgian National Communication Commission (GNCC) announced winners of 2 tenders on study of TV audience, the magazine reports.

   Both tenders were won by Merab Pachulia’s company TriMedia Intelligence, but TVMR Georgia, the second company, engaged in TV audience measurement, voices doubt due to violations in the tender, the article points.

6. THE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED PROJECT OF SPATIAL ARRANGEMENT OF THE COUNTRY

   Today, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili announced project of spatial arrangement of the country.    German company Henkel has opened factory of construction materials in village Martkopi of Gardabani district (Kvemo Kartli region). Construction was launched in the late 2015.

9. THE GOVERNMENT: GEORGIA HAS COMPLETED NEGOTIATIONS ON FREE TRADE AGREEMENT WITH CHINA

15. AGRICULTURE MINISTRY: VINTAGE IN KAKHETI ENTERS ITS ACTIVE PHASE

    Agriculture Ministry published latest data, according to which up to 9,000 t of grapes is processed in Kakheti region, including 3,700 t of Rkatsiteli (white variety) and 3,700 t of Saperavi (red variety). Vine-growers have received income of 7.3 million lari, the Ministry noted.

16. FIXED ASSETS’ IMPORT OF INDUSTRIAL PURPOSE TO BE EXEMPTED FROM VAT

    The government declared that list of fixed assets of industrial purpose, whose import will be fully exempted from VAT, was approved at today’s meeting.

    The list mainly includes industrial machinery and other hardware, directly used in production process, administration of the government specified.

17. GEORGIA TO HOST FIRST INTERNATIONAL WINE TOURISM CONFERENCE

    On September 7-9, World Tourism Organization will hold in Georgia the first international conference on wine tourism, being attended by secretary general Taleb Rifai.

    As Georgia’s National Tourism Administration said, the conference will gather 250 delegates from 42 countries (half of them – foreign guests), representing more than 150 organizations.

19. 150 COMPANIES TAKE PART IN BELARUS NATIONAL EXHIBITION IN TBILISI

    Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that 150 companies take part in national exhibition of Belarus, which was opened in Tbilisi exhibition center ExpoGeorgia today. The event will last until September 4.

20. JSC “SARAJISHVILI” HAD PROFIT OF 2.9M LARI IN 2015

    JSC Sarajishvili (alcoholic beverages) reported profit of 2.9 million lari for 2015. Holders of stakes of up to 0.1% (12,706 shares overall) will get dividend per share of 1.60 lari (20,330 lari in total).
